PARENT TESTIMONIAL

The Peanut Gallery has provided care for my son Evan since he was 18 months old.  Having two older kids, I have seen many day cares and The Peanut Gallery has been by far the best. Christi and her staff are first rate. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do and I have seen this in everyone employed at The Peanut Gallery. In fact, I think that makes all the difference in the world with day care – hiring people who love children and take pride in their job.

In addition to taking care of my child’s essentials, The Peanut Gallery has also prepared him for Kindergarten. He started this fall and he is excelling which is no surprise. The quality of education, the quality of staff, and the quality of the facility add up to a great experience for children.

It is worth nothing that the Peanut Gallery is not the closest day care geographically to my house. The closest day care is not the best day care so we chose The Peanut Gallery. My son is better prepared for what lies ahead of him in life, in part because of The Peanut Gallery.  Thank you for caring about my son and our community.

“It’s Easy Going Green!”

...and we are making it even easier by building this philosophy into our everyday lives. Our goal is to partner with our families, providing ideas and tips so that we can become more “earth friendly” and environmentally conscious. Now is the time to work together to teach our children to take care of our earth, ensuring that its resources will be here for generations to come.

We promote an “earth friendly” lifestyle in our classrooms. Our teachers encourage the children to be more “earth aware” by implementing simple practices such as:

  • saving scrap paper for art projects
  • using both sides of the paper when drawing pictures
  • making sure water faucets are turned off
  • recycling newspapers, cans, paper and plastic bottles
  • turning out the lights before going outside to play
  • closing doors behind them to maintain room temperatures

We incorporate creative uses for normally discarded household items such as empty tissue boxes and paper towel rolls into our curriculum.

Each month, we encourage our staff, children and families to make at least one new effort to be “green.” In addition to opportunities we can all support at our centers and schools, we provide ideas that can be implemented at home.

By combining our efforts and knowledge, we, as a community, will make a positive impact helping today’s generation to leave a healthy earth for future generations.

Join us, be part of our “Going Green” Team!” Working together, we will discover...

“It’s Easy Going Green!”
