PARENT TESTIMONIAL

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate your staff at Branch Hollow. The struggle to leave my daughter Emily, and return to work after maternity leave was a tough decision and what my family needed to survive. Each morning the decision was made easier as I found my child thriving in the care of the nursery staff. She was a happy and healthy baby that grew into a toddler quickly.

As Emily moved through the class ages at the day care, she was challenged by learning, friendships and invaluable discipline to get along with others. The teachers do an excellent job of communicating with me about her day. I feel they are partnering with me in preparing my child for each step of her future.

Emily enjoys teaching my husband and I all the new songs she is learning. She loves to do art work, count in Spanish, and tell tales about her day.

The extra time and care that Karen Merolla and her staff take to know each child is evident in the atmosphere of the center and the joy of the child. The Branch Hollow Peanut Gallery has been an answer to my prayers. Well done Karen and staff.

Walking and Talking Toddlers

As infants’ curiosity leads them to take their first steps, we encourage them to embrace “toddlerhood.” When children move to the toddler room, they are ready to express their emerging independence. Our teachers choose activities from our curriculum to help toddlers to play and learn.

The Peanut Gallery’s planned activities promote curiosity, allowing your toddler to exercise his or her budding independence.

Our toddlers eagerly discover the world around them as they experience captivating circle time, stimulating sensory opportunities and physical play activities. Other milestones such as self-feeding, early language and socialization skills are encouraged and supported by our exceptional teachers.
Common in the toddler room is the amazing increase in new words and phrases to describe the exciting world around them. Language development is a large component of our curriculum. Our activities are designed to meet the developmental needs of children.

In the toddler classrooms at The Peanut Gallery, your child’s experiences will include the following curriculum opportunities:
